Written for my late mom, 2021
The braveness of kind
A mother of love
A lifetime of memories
She now loves from above
A woman of strength
For her, giving was key
A nurturing soul, an adventurous heart
Overcoming adversity for her was an art
To rise, to live, to breath, is what we do each day
For some that is not always the order, for some it is still our way
Pass on the love, the brave, the kind
In our mother’s love is where all these we find
In the presence of a Robin
Within the softness of a feather
You are always near me, as I hold your heart forever
